Over the past 2 months, GCFS partnered with Compassion to raise funds to help with rebuilding hope and a future home for Daniel Hose's family in Guatemala. This past January, with the tragic loss of their home being burnt down from a electrical circuit, they lost everything they owned. Most unfortunate and heartbreaking about this fire was that his younger brother, Alejandro Hose passed away shortly after the incident due to the complications from the fire. As a school, we wanted to be global helpers and represent Christ in our sharing, giving, and offering in small and big ways. In order that what we learned inside the school grounds would overflow into the nations. Through the multiple fundraisers that were ongoing, every student in the school had the opportunity to participate in the purpose of blessing Daniel Hose. Here are the amazing results from our fundraisers since April 2-June 2. Praise God for teaching us, training us, and showing us how to display a bigger heart to give to those in need.
