Spiritual Discipline:CONFESSION-what a powerful time today where our elementary students had the opportunity to confess their one true love and commitment to Jesus Christ by starting at the cross. We believe today was a grand celebration in Heaven as each student said "YES, I receive you as my one and only Lord and Savior into my heart" that Heaven was welcoming each son and daughter with joy!

For the past semester, elementary students have been memorizing Bible verses for each spiritual discipline that we have been learning in chapel. Today, we held our annual Bible memory contest and witnessed the excitement, readiness, and joy in reciting the Bible verses. GCFS witnessed such fruit that bears from all the love of God's word being spoken out loud.
. . . . . . Congratulations to Ms. Lee's 4th grade class who took the victory! All the elementary students were amazing and we are so thankful for your eagerness to learn and memorize His word! GCFS had the blessed opportunity to partner with 시립고덕 (Shee- Reep) elderly center to bring joy and love to the community and family there. We prayed and hoped that our hugs, smiles, and service would lighten and warm their hearts. As we introduced ourselves, Ms. Nathalie's music class prepared several performances k-8th grade and were able to provide joy with their talents. Elementary partnered with the elderly to make bead necklaces and bracelets while the secondary served in cleaning the community center. Service was so deepened by the love our students poured out today and it was an unforgettable experience and rich memories remain in our hearts through our service day today. GCFS, you are all AMAZING!
The elementary department has been growing so deeply in love with how to be more like Christ through the spiritual disciplines that have been taught every week. We are so blessed and privileged to memorize Scripture, learn what God values, and to practice the very teachings that God highlights in the Bible. This week, we learned what serving looks like. In the very nature of who Jesus was as fully God and fully man, he humbled himself and washed the feet of the disciples. Our chaplain- Ms. Cho led the teachers to serve our elementary students one by one and washed their feet during our chapel this morning. What a powerful way to display what serving looks like and ultimately how love looks like. We pray that all of our students will continue to extend themselves selflessly and generously to love one another. In light of our service day tomorrow, we are thankful that as a school we can have first-hand experience of learning how to serve how Jesus served!
